That day we went to Partridge Creek Mall for brunch with my dad, the kids calls him Papa. After our brunch , we stroll around a little bit then we went to the playground. Let’s talk about her outfit, since this is a fashion blog. From the title itself Playground Chic, that’s what she wore at the playground that day. She picked out her shoes because thats her favorite shoes. She calls it Minnie Shoes , because it has a bow like Minnie mouse, unlike the other Converse next to it these pair stoods out for her. Olivia’s outfits are pretty much relatable. I can go really crazy on her if I want to but I want her to be herself and be childlike after all she is still a baby. She is only two years old. There are days she agrees on my outfit choices but there times she doesn’t. If she doesn’t like it, she is not wearing it. When she sees something she likes, she goes ” Oh mommy, super cute ! “. One time I was trying on my clothes in my closet , she was in the room with me then she came up to me while I was checking myself in the mirror. Then she goes, “Mommy bootiful” (beautiful) . It was so stinking cute. That was the first time I heard her saying those words .That was one of the highlights of my day. It’s so amazing how kids put things together in their head and I feel so lucky to be able to experience and enjoy it day after day 24/7. Though honestly, it’s not always pleasant and there are times I contemplate on going back to work, but at the end of the day it always boils down to what’s the most suited plan for our family at the moment. So a big pat at the back for us stay at home moms.
