The “ber” months is all about the Holidays. After Halloween, it’s Thanksgiving and then Christmas. All these holiday festivities comes so fast before you know it and it’s always good to be prepared on what to wear when party and dinner invitations starts rolling in.
For Thanksgiving dinner, I like the idea of a comfy floral dress with rich tones like red, maroon, burnt orange, brown or teal. Something that mimics the color of nature and falling leaves. I always like to wear a dress for the holidays, but I want something that is forgiving to my body because for sure I’ll be so bloated after dinner. This floral dress from Free People totally suits for the occasion. I like slits on the bell sleeves and the details on the neckline. This style reminds me of a 90’s movie like The Craft. Bell sleeves, dark rich tones and chokers were the thing back then and now it’s trending again. Those were the days, now I feel old.

I know sometimes we don’t want to look like we are trying so hard and we want to look age appropriate, but you know what, who cares? Like what they say, Do what your heart desires. Never hold back a thing and don’t worry so much of what others think, because at the end of the day, what makes you happy is what really matters most.
