If you have been following my blog, i’m sure you already know that i talked about ruffles and statement sleeves is the “it” styles right now. I’m sure it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, some of you like the basic and classic styles but sometimes it’s always good to get out of your comfort zone. Life is short, if you wanted to do something you like or wear something you like, just do it. Be bold and fearless. Like, i always wanted to do a style blog because i love fashion and beauty although 99% of the time my daily life is not really that fashionable or glamorous at all. So i did it.
I don’t really have to take pictures of every outfit i wear, but i think it’s fun to document my looks once in a while after all we are not getting any younger. Also, i love to share and talk about my fashion finds. Like right now, i want to talk about this gingham ruffle sleeves top and white button down skirt that was sent to me by Zan.Style. I’m not kidding, the quality is amazing. It is quite a little pricey as compared to other online boutiques out there but you get what you paid for. The material is not the wash and throw kind, they also have great packaging and it doesn’t smell. I only talk about products that i like and would be beneficial to you, i rather just buy my own other than talking about a product that i’m not really into it.
So the top is very well made, there are no loose threads. The gingham print and ruffle sleeves are so on trend. The skirt is a white denim with a little stretch , i really love the detailing with the button downs and little frayed at the bottom. It is such a cute style. It’s okay to wear white after labor day as long as it’s a fall or winter style of clothing.
So what do you think of the statement sleeves trend right now. Are you a minimalist who likes the basic and classic trends or a maximalist who likes bold and statement pieces ? I appreciate your thoughts.
