It was a night to remember when we first experienced to watch as a family a Cirque Du Soleil show and it was the Cirque Du Soleil- Crystal at the new Little Caesars Arena here in Detroit. Crystal is not just a figure skating ice show, it was more into it. First there was a story line about a girl named Crystal who is trying to find and discover her true self through her imaginations. In her world of imagination, it was played with the most exciting and death defying performance of these world class figure skaters and acrobats. You will be amazed ! I am telling you. The performance itself mixed with an amazing effects, staging and soundtrack are just so phenomenal that it made me teary eyed because it’s just so beautiful. It’s nothing I have seen before in person. Maybe, I’ve seen some similar performance on T.V. or videos but it’s nothing like it when you experienced and watched it in person. You will actually feel the performance. It’s that amazing !
So we went together as a family, my husband , my mother-in-law and our 5 years old daughter and 9 years old son. The kids enjoyed the show so much, they were glued to it through out the whole performance. Although it’s a family friendly show, I highly recommend it for a date night because there is a little bit of a love story there too. We really enjoyed the aerial acrobats the most.
Cirque Du Soleil is on tour so watch for their schedule in your area. If they will be in your state around Valentine’s day, then you are lucky.
