When in doubt, black and grey is the way to go. This combo is always chic, classy and timeless, you can’t go wrong with it. Even though it’s already spring here in the Midwest, we still have the winter weather that calls for sweaters and layering. When it comes to layering when your petite, it is quite a challenge to style. A lot of times, i have to do some alterations. But i’m glad i don’t have to on this sleeveless sweater vest. I’m 4’11 that’s why it looks like a dress but really, it’s a top. At first, i wanted to wear it with jeans and heels but the vest is down to my knees it made me look shorter. So when i styled it with leggings and over the knee boots, the illusion of height is very forgiving. Also the side details of the vest, makes it so much comfortable and not to mention, it looks trendy as well. When it comes to layering, especially when it’s dark colors play around with textures and fabrics. It gives a little bit of an edge and a touch of class.
