This post is truly special because it’s dedicated for my mom who loves Anne Klein watches. I remember years ago when i was visiting to the Philippines, i asked her what she wants as a gift. For this coming Mother’s Day, the Anne Klein watch is a perfect gift for moms. Also, give her the gift of time. Spend time with her, that is the most important thing. When i went home to the Philippines to visit my mom, she was battling with colon cancer, it was a very difficult time for all of us. So we all made sure we spend a lot of time with her. Even at that most difficult stage of our life, our mom truly bond us together as a family. I really missed her, Mother’s day is kinda like a sad and also a happy day for me. I’m happy to celebrate that i’m a mom myself, yet also sad because i missed my mom and i wish i could celebrate with her. But life is like that, things happen. We will just have to accept things, be thankful and grateful for the things she have done for us. I will cherish it for as long as i live.
Aside from my mom, there is this one person who have a huge part of my life. My mother-in-law, she is the strongest woman i know with the biggest heart. I don’t know how she managed to do things with such ease. She is also very kind to everyone and never ever did interrogate our decisions as husband and wife. My mom was right, when she met my mother-in-law for the first time during her visit to the Philippines. She told me, my mother-in-law is a very good person and that i am very lucky. Indeed i am and i’m forever grateful.
Since my mom is already in heaven, i celebrated Mother’s day with my mother-in-law. We usually go out to dinner as a family, there was also a time we went shopping and got our hair and nails done. It was fun and i’m looking forward to spend Mother’s day again with her.
