We finally hit a summer weather today and it’s such a great feeling to go out and enjoy the sun. When you live in the Midwest, beautiful weather like this is such a blessing. Today, i’m going to share to you easy hairstyles for the summer for mid-length hair. But first things first, we have to achieve our hair color choice for the summer. Do you want to go lighter, darker or just to freshen up your existing color? For this summer, i think i want to go a little bit lighter , freshen up my existing color  and evens out my regrowth hair. I achieved that by using Schwarzkopf® Keratin Color 6.5 Light Golden Brown. My original hair is really jet black. So by using the 6.5 Light Golden Brown from Schwarzkopf® Keratin Color , it gives dark to medium brown hair results. My previous color have already faded and made my hair super dry. So i freshen up and revive my locks using Schwarzkopf® Keratin Color, it has K-BOND PLEX™  it is a salon inspired anti-breakage technology that repairs the inner hair structure for strong and healthy looking hair.  A professional quality hair color at home that is easy to use and produces beautiful color results that last.
Schwarzkopf® Keratin Color leaves your hair looking healthy and strong up to 80% less breakage, intense colors, K-BOND PLEX™ repairs the hair structure and don’t forget to pre-treatment for even color result.
Here is the before and after photos by using the product. As you can see on the left side, my before photo prior using the product. My hair color had already faded, a lot of jet black regrowth,  rusty strands and super dry locks. On the right side, the after photo. My hair have revive its shine and no longer dry. The rusty strands have toned down and gives that dark to medium strands that i’m trying to achieve. It was so easy to use and it really didn’t took me that long to color my own hair.

Now, let’s go to the tutorial ! Here are a couple of easy summer hairstyles that you can sport this season. From loose and laid back beachy waves, to a quick updo that is perfect for mid-length hair.

Everyday Beach Waves

1. First you section your hair using hair sectioning clips. Then i curl my hair using a flat iron, that way i get big loose curls. I usually curl the bottom section first, I grab 1 inch hair strands and curl it away from my face. After that, i grab another hair strands and curl it towards my face. I alternate the directions in curling my hair, that way the curl doesn’t clump up together and have a more natural beachy waves look.

2.Here, i’m doing the middle section and curling it the same way as i did the bottom section of my hair. Repeatedly do that until you curl your entire hair.

3. Spray with a hairspray to hold the curls and run it with your fingers to soften up the curls. That’s it ! Simple, quick and easy!

Simple Braid Updo for Mid length hair

1. Section the hair in the three’s , that way it’s easier to braid and the hair is divided evenly.

2. Braid the hair and tie at the bottom.

3. Loosen the braid and Roll it up . Tuck it inside and  secure it tightly with bobbi pins.

4. Grab a few hair strands around the face to have a face frame and achieve an effortless chic look.

This updo is super easy and yet so versatile. Perfect for everyday look and special occasions as well. Most of all, it’s great for girls with thin mid length hair that have a hard time rocking a top knot.
