Hi! My name is April. I’m the creator of the blog, April Was Here. It was born out of my yearning for a creative outlet while embarking on the journey of motherhood. This blog and the community around it inspire me to create, either through writing, photography, sharing new favorite recipes, or fashion inspirations.
Recently, I just Livy Lou Collection – a girl’s hair accessories line. It’s a passion project created together with local stay-at-home moms. We thought of sharing our love for crafting and creating while raising our littles. We believe that we should do something with our other passions and that could be as simple as a new bow that we created. At the end of the day, it truly is the simple things in life that fill our cups, so we can serve our loved ones better.
I use "was here" being an operative phrase for a stamp of my journey and chronicles. It's my journey in life through my personal inspirations.
I'm 4 ft 11 and 3/4 inches tall. If you are petite like me, you'll feel right at home here.
