It takes planning and definitely time management. When my kids were still babies and i was planning to go somewhere that requires me to do a full hair and make up, it took me forever to get ready. It felt like an all day thing and it’s so tasking. When i’m all done, i’m already exhausted that i don’t feel like going anywhere anymore. But over time you get adapted with your new lifestyle and incorporated some strategies to make motherhood life easier and bearable. The key here is time management and i’m going to share to you how i get ready in the morning. Shower and blow dry hair the night before – It’s a no brainer, if you shower and blow-dry your hair the night before it definitely cuts your preparation time the next day. Plus you can take your time taking a shower rather than rushing the next day. Washing my face – When i wake up, i always wash my face to get rid of excess oil. It’s always good to start your day with a clean face, it lessens your chance to get pimples. 3. Applying my toner – Applying toner is part of my cleansing process. I don’t want to skip this one because it reaps good benefits for my skin especially because i’m prone to pimples. Toners are formulated to remove sebum, oil and dirt from the pores, they help clear pores to minimize breakouts and blackheads. 4. Applying my moisturizer – This will make my skin feel fresh and hydrated all day. Of course not all moisturizers are created equally, that’s why it’s always important to know your skin so you know what is needed. I’m using Olay Total Effects Whip Face Moisturizer for my face because it have 7 skin benefits in one that is actively replenishes nourishing moisture, evens skin tone appearance, enhances brightness, visibly smooths fine lines and wrinkles, minimizes the look of pores, restores firmness and visibly reduces dark spots. Despite the vast array of lightweight- claiming moisturizer choices offered today, women are regularly forced to choose between a product that provides powerful results, but feels sticky and tacky, and one that feels truly lightweight, but doesn’t offer much beyond basic hydration. Because they feel there is a constant trade off, they either continue to shop around or have given up on moisturizers entirely. That is why Olay uniquely formulated with Active Rush Technology to hold and quickly release 1,000x its weight in hydration and active ingredients, Olay Whips transform from cream to liquid on contact, flash absorbing into skin. Developed in co-creation with over 15,000 real women to get the right product end feel, Olay Whips give women all the feels, plus the powerful results they’ve been missing from their lightweight skin creams. 5. Applying my make-up , styling my hair and getting dressed – If i’m just staying home, i normally don’t wear make-up. I tried not to put too much chemicals on my face. But when i go somewhere, i always have my hair and make up on. For everyday look, my make up is just minimal. A light foundation, blush on, lipstick, mascara and fill in my eyebrows. If i feel sassy, i put on a bright lipstick and some eye shadow. As i get into my 30’s, i’m easing myself from too much make-up. I feel more younger looking with less make up on. As a woman it’s always important to be knowledgeable on what’s going in our skin. You have to know what type of skin you have so you can identify what exactly you really need. We always wanted to look young and age gracefully, we just don’t want to keep masking our imperfections with more chemicals. That’s why we have to tackle the root cause of our skin problems so we will have healthy looking skin. Having a youthful healthy skin, truly boost our self-confidence and makes us feel ourselves again. I found my Olay Total Effects Whip Face Moisturizer in the Skin Care aisle at Kroger in 26 mile rd. in Macomb, MI but you can find yours at your local Kroger or Kroger banner store. Get yours now and let me know what you think ! Thank you so much for reading and have a great day!

Every time i washed my hair, it was such a struggle to brush and blow dry because my hair was so tangled. I had a lot of hair loss and breakage as well. Brushing – It’s a myth that you should brush your hair a hundred times a day to have healthy shiny hair. It doesn’t help at all. It’s also more likely that brushing the wrong way is damaging your. This is called mechanical damage 3. Twirling – Dirt from your hands transfers across to your hair making it heavy and limp. The constant touching causes breakage as well. 4. Hair Accessories (like elastics and pretty hair pins)- Elastics are not the gentlest on your hair. They snag and cause breakages, especially at the ends of your hair where it’s weaker. 5. Your Handbag – Wearing a shoulder bag or cross body bag, you’re often catching your hair underneath the strap. That regular wear and tear on the same side of your head causes split end breakages. Eventually your hair will just snap off. 6. Your Pillow – Not putting your hair to bed properly at night is also causing damage. We didn’t really think that a pillowcase would make a big difference until we switched to silk. Not only is it so much smoother on your hair, it reduces frizz and stops those pillow creases forming. 7. Wearing the Same Style Everyday – Tight hairstyles constrain your hair, and placing your hair band in the same place daily will cause a ring of breakage around your hair. Tips on how to prevent hair damage 1. Read the product labels – We may not realize that some products are not good for you, not all products are created equally. So it’s really important to educate ourselves and do some research on what to use for our hair. You want something that combine patented keratin technology with essential benefits like color protection, intense hydration, long-lasting volume, and weightless nourishment, so you get the repair you need without having to compromise. Try GLISS® Hair Repair™ products, their Ultimate Repair Shampoo and Conditioner won the Allure Best of Beauty Award as best shampoo and conditioner for damaged hair. 2. Be kind to your hair – As much as possible try to use styling products less frequently and lessen the usage of hair gadgets like curling irons, hair straighteners , hair dryers and etc. Heat is the hair’s enemy, if you exposed it to a lot of heat it would really damage your hair. Try using hair protectant or lower the heat for just a notch of your hair gadgets. 3. Eat healthy – Our hair is made up of proteins so it’s important to load our bodies with high protein foods like eggs, steak, beans, fish and many more. This will promote hair re growth and repair. 3. Manage stress in your life – In life there is always stress, it’s inevitable. So what you need to do is to learn to manage it by diverting yourself away from stress. Try doing things that would make you happy, inspired and relaxed. Try working out and doing yoga. Things that would benefit your body and soul will really help on repairing and maintaining a healthy hair. 4. Trim your hair – To prevent split ends, trim your hair every 6-8 weeks. This will give your hair a healthy glow and prevent from being dry on the ends. 5. Wash your hair every other day – This is case to case basis because it depends on the type of hair you have and what place you lived in. If you live in a very hot and humid climate that you sweat a lot, then you might have to wash it everyday. As long as keeping your hair dandruff free. Try also applying conditioner only at the ends so it doesn’t weigh your hair down. 6. Tight hairstyles constrain your hair and those elastic are not the gentlest on your hair. They sang and cause breakages, especially at the ends of your hair where it’s weaker. Here is a tip, when removing them from your hair, spritz them with the Schwarzkopf Fiber Therapy Leave in Conditioner Spray and also spray some on the ends of your hair. 7. Take supplements – Some research suggests that biotin (part of the B complex vitamins) may improve brittle nails and thinning hair. Many experts recommend a biotin supplement for hair health because it’s water-soluble (meaning your body excretes what it doesn’t need) and doesn’t have any side effects. 8. Use silk pillows – Not only is it much smoother on your hair, it reduces frizz and stops those pillow creases forming. Our hair is our crowning glory so it’s really important to take care of
Daily Skincare Routine at Home
If you have been following me on my social medias, you know i love L’Occitane . So when i was asked for this campaign, there was no hesitations. It’s a dream come true ! Now that fall is already here, my skin tends to get dry and when I’m applying foundation on my skin it gets more drier and flaky. So a skincare infused with Shea butter is just perfect for my skin. Like what they said, a good skin makes your make up look good. It’s not the other way around. So it’s really important to invest on our skin.
How to Find Personal Style
This shop is compensated by Schwarzkopf #CareWithKeratin #sponsored I always believed in the saying ” You can never be too educated or too overdress”. Like most of us, I feel great and confident when I’m dressed up. As a stay at home mom it is definitely a challenge to take care of ourselves. Our outside appearance always take a back seat to prioritize our families needs and there is nothing more amazing than that. After all one of the essence of a woman is to create a family and nurture children as great individuals one day. But sometimes at some point in motherhood, I kind of miss my old self. I miss the long showers, putting make up on and dressing nice. Some of us lost our personal style and that’s okay. Sometimes it’s just the way it is. Trust me, i don’t look prim and proper everyday but i tried to from time to time or at least putting something else on rather than my shirt and leggings everyday. One thing for sure, it is a struggle and i try not to be too hard on myself. In this post i would love to share positivity and encouragement to women on how to make you feel your best self. I also wanted to tell you about Dress for Success®Worldwide, it’s an organization that is a partner of Schwarzkopf that empowers women by providing them with the tools they need to achieve economic independence. Through education and mentoring, they’re making a difference in your community and across the globe. Over one million women have been served by this international organization and its programs. Exfolimate Face and Body Exfoliator Review
Today, I’m going to share to you an exfoliation tool that i never thought it existed. It’s called Exfolimate, it’s made from Australia and it is designed to exfoliate your skin with innovative grooves and smooth edge technology to instantly glide along the skin with gentle fingertip control and pressure. My first impression was, it was a weird looking tool to exfoliate my skin. I was afraid that I’m going to cut myself while using it but I was wrong. The micro grooves is gentle enough to glide through your face and skin, just make sure your face is wet while using it. I ran it all over my face and when I ran it through the sides of my nose, I looked at the blade and I saw all the dead skin build up on the tool edge. It’s actually pretty satistfying to see my dead skin being sweeped out by this tool. I used it on my upper arms because I have Keratosis Pilaris there. It scraped off some of the dead skin but my little bumps is still there, I think I have to do it more often so that it will eventually eliminate my bumps out. I also used it on my legs because I have some tiny bumps there too from shaving. I just recently received this product, so I couldn’t really exactly tell the results but as far as I have been using it, it scrapes off dead skin of my face and body. You just have to be careful on those part of your skin that is thin, so you won’t cut yourself. I never had any cut at all but I just stayed away on sensitive areas. You can use it daily to achieve a naturally clearer skin. So how do we use Exfolimate? ( There is a manual enclosed for all the details. I just want to through to you a quick instruction.) 1.While cleansing, showering or bathing, wet the skin with warm water to help open the pore and soften the skin to make it suppler.Use Exfolimate for areas around the face, behind the ears and nose and also for larger areas of the skin around the arms, legs and body. 2.Use Fingertip control to press down on your Exfolimate lightly as 90 degree angle to the skin and gently glide in a slow motion in either direction. Maximum 4 to 6 glides, always ensuring the skin is we and supple. 3.Glide along the neck upwards to the jaw line, along the jaw, across cheeks and forehead. 4.For in-grown hair, it is recommended to glide with the growth of hair to clear the pores and then back against the growth to lift the hair follicle.Use prior to shaving or waxing. Some precautions for using Exfolimate Avoid excessive pressure. Not to be used on broken or infected skin. Do not use for 7-10 days after laser or chemical peel treatments Don not use if skin is not thoroughly wet. Do not clean with corrosive kitchen or bathroom cleaning supplies. Where to buy : Exfolimate website I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomosom.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
Everyday Make Up Look
Looks like a lot of make up for an everyday look right? Yes, these are basically my go to make up when I’m on the go and each one of them has a special role to achieve a natural and a no make up kind of look. Most days, I don’t have a lot of time to play around with make up because I’m a mom and I’m always chasing time. So I usually stick to a basic look, just to make myself at least put together and not look like I just got out of bed. Here are my reviews to each one of them. I’ll promise to make it short as possible. For the Face : Porefessional Benefit Cosmetics – A primer is the very first step and the most important thing before i apply my foundation, it conceals my big pores, takes the shine off my face and evens out uneven skin tone. Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Liquid Foundation – Its a full coverage foundation that covers up my blemishes, acne scars and uneven skin tone. It’s buildable and not cakey. But you don’t really need a lot because it has a good coverage. You only need two pumps and you are good to go. Cargo One Base liquid concealer – Ever since I used this concealer under my eyes, I fell in love. It blends and covers up well the creases underneath my eyes and it doesn’t look cakey. I like it that it looks natural and not look like you obviously put too much concealer underneath. Laura Mercier translucent loose setting powder – This is the holy grail, it sets your foundation really good to make you look poreless ! A friend recommended me this and gosh, I am thankful. I use it for baking and contouring when I feel like it, but most of the time for everyday look I just use a big powder brush and loosely tap on my liquid foundation to set it. Mac Sheertone Shimmer Blush – This powder blush is not just your ordinary matte powder blush, It has some shimmer or shine in it. When light or a flash camera hits on you, the apple of your cheeks will be highlighted. It will make you look like you have high cheekbones and when you do have a high cheekbones or the illusion of having one, it makes you look youthful. I’m on my 30’s , so I’m all about trying to look youngin’ as much as possible. For the eyes : L’oreal Infallible The Super Slim Liquid eye liner– I have a hooded lid, so I really love this super slim liquid eyeliner to make my eyes look a bit bigger. I apply it really close to my lashes so my eyes will pop up. Lancome Color design sensational effects eyeshadow in Mochachino (matte)– I use this to line my under eye, I like to use brown to line my under eye and black to line my upper eye, that way the contrast will make my eyes a little bigger rather than doing both black. It makes me look more chinky instead. I applied a little bit of eyeshadow at the corner of my eye for a little depth. Nothing so dramatic here, because I’m going for an everyday look. Lorac Pro Fiber plus mascara– It’s great for everyday look, it’s tip is easy to apply , it’s not heavy and it doesn’t clump. For the eye brows: Anastasia brow pomade– I apply this to fill the inside of my brows. I like the creamy consistency, it makes it easy to apply and it looks very natural. Mac eyebrows brow definer in Spike – I used this to shape and line the outside edge of my brows. It looks more defined when its shaped with a liner, then fill it in with brow pomade to have that natural look. For the lips: I’m showing 5 kinds of lip wear because these are my constant rotation for this season. On today’s look, I’m using only Colourpop lip liner in BFF 2. It is highly pigmented and for just a lip liner, its pretty creamy to apply. The most time consuming for me in this make up routine is my eyebrows because I don’t have a perfectly shaped eyebrows due to over plucking that I did in my younger years. So I have to take my time shaping it to make it look natural and thick, since thick eyebrows makes you look younger. You just have to make sure to make it proportionate to your face. I’m using Nikon D7000 in 35 mm f 1.8 lens. It is not filtered but taken with flash. The picture below is taken with no flash photography and it’s not filtered either. Totally different from the top picture right? So there it is, my everyday make up look. I hope you enjoy reading and may you have a great week!
